I've been fairly absent from YouTube and social media for the last few months (or longer tbh) as I've been putting everything I have into creating and running the Story Magic Academy.

@Prep_tober Final count this year was 60k. Not only winning for the first time but doubling my count from last year

@Prep_tober 51253 all my planning went out the window but I learned that I need to define my MCs motivation and the conflict much better. I kept writing and now have about 7 new stories started. So I have lots to work with next year!

@Prep_tober I ended with 50,033, but have a lot more to go for the story to be complete. I learned that a song playing low and on repeat with earbuds is great for flow. Also speaking the words out loud as I typed sometimes helped gain momentum.

@Prep_tober @mythicflux 50,050 I learned that my husband doesn't complain if I'm still typing at 1am, that doing dishes gives me ideas and that nothing generates more questions in a 3 year old than word sprints in the morning.

@Prep_tober 27,440 and nowhere near done! I learned that I cannot reward myself with candy and that #NaNoWriMo is not a good time to change jobs. I also learned how to plot and brainstorm things out a lot better.
