Wardington residents really appreciated the cards the children made - opening the post is one of the activities they can still enjoy, so please continue to think about sending cards to a care home near you
It’s been a wonderful term here in Pre-Prep. We’ve ’flown away’ to far away places, visited the zoo, made our hair stand on end in the science lab and performed fabulous festive plays. We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and all good things for 2020.
What a wonderful start to the last week of term we are having. The children wowed their audiences with their Christmas productions. Nursery and Reception told the nativity story in Hey Ewe! Year 1 and 2 were fabulous in Lights, Camel, Action - a 10 from us!
Yesterday, the children got the chance to understand democracy by being part of the Pre-Prep election. All had the opportunity to vote for which picture panels they would like to see in the new-look playground. The space&car themes won, we can’t wait to see them displayed.
Beautiful Christingle service in our chapel this afternoon with @PrePrepWHS and our Year 8 prefects. A wonderful and atmospheric way to celebrate together
The total is in and we raised over £600 for @OpSmileUK as part of our Grow a £2 initiative. It has been wonderful to see the children fully embrace their inner entrepreneur.
Last week, we were delighted to welcome some of our American families who came in to talk to our children about Thanksgiving. They brought with them some yummy treats as well as explaining the traditions and history behind the holiday.

Our Reception class were delighted to have their Grandparents visit today. The children gave a short presentation, sharing a song and a story. All children were animatedly asking questions about how childhood and everyday life has changed.
This morning, the Pre-Prep children were delighted to Skype Mr Jones&his family, who moved to Africa at the end of last term. Whilst we sang a Swahili song to them, they showed us the zebras by the car as they stopped on their safari. A great start to the week before Half Term.
Happy World Smile Day! There are always smiles when Nursery children visit our Secret Garden. Come and see how smiley we are in Pre-Prep at our Nursery Come & Play session, Tues 8th October 10.30. Please email [email protected] if you would like to join us.
As part of our Harvest Celebrations, Pre-Prep were delighted to be able to support the Brackley Food Bank again this year. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Thank you to those who braved the weather for our Produce Sale on Friday. The Pre-Prep Parent produce was amazing: chutneys, freshly grown fruit&veg, yummy cakes. A special thank you to Mrs Bowden & her band of merry helpers who were full of enthusiasm despite torrential rain.
