Lots of anger about this, but it’s been the reality for TV for the last decade as young people and kids have abandoned broadcasters for other platforms, especially YouTube.

I always advise that a strong social media presence is vital nowadays.

@PresentingAdv Indeed. You gave me a lot of advice over a decade ago that was relatively new then, I didn't follow it as closely as I should have. Most of it is the norm these days, it's just taking some quarters a long time to realise.

Today I replied to everyone who did an audition with me to let them know the outcome. It’s not that difficult to do. Saddens me when I hear this is not standard practice, it takes like an hour max.
