🦁 This is the Tisza version of “protecting the living environment”.
Tibor Kaprinyák, vice‑chair of Parliament’s Committee for the Living Environment, tasked with overseeing nature and animal welfare policy, is photographed proudly over a dead lion in Africa as a hobby hunter.
While László Gajdos, the Minister for the Living Environment, scrambles to say Kaprinyák “has no role in the ministry” and “no tasks”, one fact remains: Tisza chose a trophy hunter to help oversee Hungary’s environmental policy.

Many in the world are hungry for the Savior Jesus Christ and His teachings, President Dallin H. Oaks taught during the morning session of the October 2026 general conference, encouraging listeners to believe in and act on gospel truths found in the Book of Mormon and to share them with others.
“Latter-day Saints invite each other and all men and women everywhere to ‘come unto Christ’ and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption,” said the 94-year-old prophet and leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In his second talk at the end of the final session on Sunday, October 4, President @OaksDallinH invited all to study, prayerfully ponder and act on the principles taught in conference messages. He concluded with an invitation to the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, highlighting the new video series ‘Dedicate,’ which explores the Salt Lake Temple renovation through the eyes of young adults.

Jesus Christ has done everything necessary for you, for us, to have joy in this life and forever.
Even when we make mistakes and feel discouraged or wonder if we will ever be good enough. There is good news—wonderful, hopeful news!
Because God loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who took upon Himself our sins so we can repent, be forgiven, and keep progressing.

As we look forward, we welcome the world, in person or virtually, to the Salt Lake Temple Celebration. On April 5, 2027, the temple doors will open to the public—the first such opening since 1893.

When I read the scriptures, I’m impressed with how much of the Savior’s work has to do with bringing people peacefully together. The people during His earthly ministry were divided in a dozen different ways—culturally, politically, religiously.
When you think about it, it wasn’t so different from our world today. But the Savior of the world, the Son of God, transcended worldly boundaries and divisions.
He gathered people from different walks of life and asked them to serve together in positions of trust. He ministered to the poor and rich alike. And today He continues to invite all to come unto Him.
In the Savior’s Church, it is not our political views, culture, or personal interests that unite us. It is our love for God and neighbor. It is our commitment to our covenants with Jesus Christ and to His restored gospel. We are “one in Christ” (Galatians 3:28).
Jesus Christ has the power to change us, purify us, and unite us. The closer we come to Him, the closer we will come to each other—and the closer we will come to the unity He wants for us.
I testify that the more united in Christ we are and the more we desire to build bridges instead of walls, the more our individual lives, our families, our communities, and our nations will experience God’s presence and supernal blessings.
Wherever you are, I invite you to join the Christ-centered unity we are trying to build. It would be incomplete without you.
Please, come and see, come and help, and come and belong.

Come unto our Heavenly Father. Take upon yourself the name of Jesus Christ. Identify with Him. Always remember Him. Strive to be like Him. Join Him in His work. Receive His power and blessings in your life. #GeneralConference
“I pray for what our Heavenly Father wants for each of us—to be active members of the Church of Jesus Christ, proceeding forward on the covenant path into the eternities.”

The covenants and ordinances of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ are spiritual credentials that can open wide the heavenly windows of opportunity to receive in our lives divine purpose, direction, and strength. They provide the opportunity for promised blessings, which require ongoing faithfulness.
The Holy Ghost is also described in scripture as the Holy Spirit of Promise who ratifies or confirms as acceptable to God the righteous acts of His children. Thus, ordinances and covenants must be sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise to be binding on earth and in heaven.
Just as you need an authorized stamp on a passport to enter a foreign country, so each of us needs the verifying witness of the Holy Spirit of Promise in order for us to receive the eternal blessings associated with the covenants and ordinances of the Savior’s gospel.
Receiving this ratifying sealing by the Holy Ghost typically is not a one-time event; rather, it comes over time as we repent sincerely and consistently, honor our covenants, and yield our hearts unto God.
Each of us should ever be grateful for sacred opportunities to “walk in all the ordinances of the Lord” (Doctrine and Covenants 136:4) and to receive by the Holy Spirit of Promise, “in process of time,” (Moses 7:21) the ratifying seal that guarantees all promised blessings.
