See, you're only good when they can use you; it's so f***ing true,
They're just people. Who knows if they know they're being cruel?
But I put their words in a trash can at the back of my mind,
Tried to move on, but I can't seem to leave it behind.
So, in the name of being honest,
They were casually being cruel,
They treat you like you'd play the fing fool.
So I bury all my secrets until I go to the sky,
They'll say "He's good," but his life was a freaking lie.
Fools who claim to have wisdom, but it's only to break you down,
Be prepared to be judged by the one sitting with the crown.
I just started breathing in way too deep,
Do anything to escape reality.
Some people are truly out of reach,
Maybe they should practice what they preach.
My Past Affects My Future
Childhood trauma and decoding of people's words are in my head,
Now I walk around just like the walking dead.
Spin the wheel and let it land on 'stuck in the past',
Call the therapist; let them say it won't last.
