Today marks 6-years since I made a program to travel to Rukungiri to see my mother, and a rich friend offered to give me a ride in his new Range Rover as he was going to the same village.

We agreed that we set off from parliament Avenue at 10am.

Three minutes to the agreed time, I was at the venue with my small backpack, anxious to travel in a new England made luxury vehicle.

He called and asked to find me at Acacia mall by 4pm so I moved to the said venue and began window shopping.

By three minutes past the agreed time, he called and asked me to find him in the basement where he had parked. We first went for lunch nearby because we were both hungry.

We were cruising on Masaka road at 6pm when his phone rung.

Whatever they spoke on phone, it seems the lady called him for pussy. The crooked friend perfunctorily made a U-turn and we returned to Kampala.

"I will explain, Kakwenza" said he with a foolish grin.

Later that night, I received a message from him explaining that he had been asking for pussy from a particular Muvandimwe for close to two years and she had accepted, and he foolishly made a U turn.

Just like that, I failed to travel🤣🤣
