@chrisgreybrexit ...25 years' salary as senior lecturer with all the promotions & raises he had. It's insane. The US considers you to be below the poverty line if you pay more than ⅓ of your income on rent. I don't know anyone paying less than ½ & they're in pretty well-paid jobs.

On prepayment meters you're paying for your energy in advance, before you use it, on other meters you pay in arrears, you get credit, yet it's cheaper?! It's grossly unjust & penalizes the poorest.

@RachelReevesMP Seems eminently sensible to me. Public schools are for the privileged, why they should get a tax boon when state schools don't, doesn't make sense to me. I think it's ridiculous that they're registered charities. It's only aspiration for the very few.
