April is Earth Month, & PRHC is pleased to announce that as part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, the hospital's surgery program is launching a Bring Your Own Bag initiative to reduce the use of plastic bags by at least 20%, keeping plastic out of landfill.

When patients arrive for planned surgeries and other procedures, they are currently provided with a plastic bag to store their clothing and personal belongings for a few hours. Beginning June 1, patients are asked to bring their own clean, reusable, grocery-sized bag with them.
