How to repeat the #100Trades experiment
Now with market replay data and a build in sim, anyone can train their ear for trade sounds, using audio as an edge.

^^ It isn't a fixed situation. My trading certainly got much consistent the more $$ and security I had access to (earned outside of trading / P$) - which inverserly correlated with the above
A simple self assessment for whether your relationship with money is aligned with trading e.g. Do you have sufficient risk capital and are you able to use it effectively to trade....
Self reflect.. am I a tightass? In recent times have I stalled at throwing $50.. $100 at a really good charitable cause?
If so - why? If its slightly painful to let go of $100 for something good and tangible then its going to be mighty difficult to trade.
Do you agree? #ThoughForTheDay
😃Getting back to PriceSquawk's roots. Listening to the market without screens 🎧🙈
No preconceptions of how a candle should play out, no made up chart patterns in my head. Not expecting some outcome from my read of the orderbook. Just following the flow of trades. #OrderFlow
Current state of the audible trading experiment - 🎧 + ⌨️ Only
Following Size:
- I am experimenting with these trade sounds and alerts to monitor price action and size, entering / exiting at market.
- Entering in direction of consecutive 25+ prints or single 50+ lots
- Exiting off audible read of momentum / trading activity. e.g. If sounds dry up / price action in my face / size printing other direction
Input:
- Pitch (price action) of 5 - 9 lots for price action and general trading activity (rhythm of sounds)
- Unique alerts for Buy / Sell 10 -> 24 / 25 -> 49 / 50+
- Sells in left ear. Buys in right ear.
Currently testing in a sim if I have sufficient market read with this alone to work with or need more context.
Could you trade off these sounds?
#100Trades
For years I have wondered what it would be like to trade purely with sound. No DOM or charts.. just PriceSquawk.
Most successful PriceSquawk users combine audio with visuals which is probably smarter.
But let's try 100 Trades. Audio only: https://t.co/BlYZpjfXDN

Sharing one of our power user's https://t.co/mveUb1chzb dashboard for audibly following the Bonds:
- Top row: Price Ticker widgets - basic tick up and down sound effects to follow price action audibly
- Left : Tape widget plays Trade alerts configured in the T-Bond (looks like 50 lots / 100 lot alerts).
- Middle column: Tape Pressure in $ZB and $ZN plays Buying or Selling pressure sounds derived from movement in the CVD.
- Bottom right: State of tape in the Notes (audibly as loudness of trade sounds)
- Top right: Alerts Widget which syncs to the economic calendar so not caught out by a key event
Thats some comprehensive order flow and price action coverage of the Bonds 🤯
