. @repmorgan��s Parents Bill of Rights Act is ill-intentioned, and I doubt any teacher/student in the State of Rhode Island would agree with the implementation of this bill.
I am DISGUSTED.
Tonight the RI General Assembly passed the RI Uniform Parentage Act. This act ensures that RI’s parenting laws are clear, equitable, and provide legal protection for all families, including LGBTQIA+ families.

On this day in 1976, Rhode Island held its first LGBTQ Pride parade in Providence. Although the parade isn’t able to go on as planned this month, I’ve been proud to march in @Pride_RI for many years and look forward to its return.

3 temporary art installations have been commissioned to activate public space in Downtown #PVD. The 3 artists were selected through a competitive process. Installations will be on view through Fall 2020.

@steveahlquist RI Pride’s 2020 march is June 20th @ 4:30 marching the same route as the first Pride in 1976. We will start with a rally at Cathedral Square and march to the State House for a second rally.
