5A have finally finished making our stuffed toys and they look incredible! Although challenging at times, the children really enjoyed putting their designs together and are proud of the final product.
Nursery are enjoying learning about Christmas. They created handprint or footprint Christmas reindeer cards. They made a repeating pattern using shinny bows and matched the pegs to the number on the Christmas tree. What a creative bunch!
Our online safety parent workshop for Years 4,5 and 6 has had to be cancelled for today due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We were pleased to see how many parents were planning to attend. We will reschedule this for the new year. Thanks
Let's keep children safe during #Halloween. Have a chat with them about staying safe during Halloween and when they're near fireworks ππ

In 5C this week we have continued making our 'stuffed toys' in our DT lesson. We used our cardboard template to mark and cut our felt and then sewed these together using a blanket stitch.
During our English lessons, Year 6 considered the thoughts and feelings of the main character through role play and a conscience alley.
The children worked together to provide advice for the character on whether he should make positive or negative choices.
Nursery have been super busy. They have engaged in a variety of activities. They have been:
Making moulds with sand
Sorting shapes in a variety of ways
Building relationships with our friends
Reading books in our cosy calm reading area.
Well done Nursery!
Following last week's investigation into the viscosity of liquids, 5A have transferred their findings into a bar chart. They were proud of the end result
