To celebrate our final letter, "Zz," and all of our hard work, Preschool went on a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo! While there, we looked for various animals that started with each letter and had some hands-on fun learning about all the different animals and their habitats.

Congratulations to Sra. Peñate’s 2nd Grade classes on winning the K–2 Earth Day Chalk the Walk Mural Contest! Thank you for helping students learn about protecting our planet and the value of recycling. They were awarded the hand chair from the Dearborn County Recycling Center.

Congratulations to our April SRO Club members! Each month students are nominated to be part of the SRO club for displaying the characteristics of a police officer. Way to go! The SRO Club members enjoy eating lunch with our SRO, Office Schneider!

Congratulations to our April Principal’s Pride members! Each month teachers select one student from their classes that portrays the High 5 Expectations. These students are kind, safe, responsible, respectful, and peaceful. I am so proud of them!

Congratulations to our April Rockin' Readers! Each month one student from each class is selected for their excellence in reading. Students are recognized and choose a book from our Book Nook in the cafeteria to help continue their love of reading!
