@xtrue445@MagicEden@BonkzNFT_ that's the problem...this "bUg" makes it so nobody can "delist" from ME, because ME doesn't recognize you as the owner. So you literally cannot sell your asset, nor can you relist it on another marketplace. It is frozen by Magic Eden.
. @MagicEden used to be the epicenter of the Solana NFT world. Today, they have all but abandoned the NFT ecosystem.
Sucks, but OK. That's a business decision for them to make.
But it's not OK to lock people's assets & prevent people from trading due to neglect. THREAD 🧵👇
@gato_lock_in it's a term of endearment. I call my friends & kids dorks, too. I get your point, but as someone who has many NFTs frozen by ME, I want my shit unfrozen so I can transfer to @OrbisOnSOL . Sucks that so many people had been purchasing from TragicEden, but they remain the default
@gato_lock_in dork I explain this in my thread. We WANT people to move over to other marketplaces, but anyone who purchased off ME in the past 3-4 months has their NFTs LOCKED. They literally cannot list them anywhere else. We need ME to fix so people can take their assets elsewhere.
@lagent213 I agree they are probably severely under-resourced on the NFT side. But if they have $75 million to throw at "gaming," you'd think they could throw $750 to a dev to fix their NFT infrastructure, or throw $75 to an intern who can reply to tweets.
Indexing issues happen. But when an NFT marketplace cannot recognize rightful ownership after purchase, and assets become effectively trapped for months, that's no longer just a bug.
That is a platform reliability failure.
