What you are describing is the past and present, not the future.

Also, imo, AGI is not some conscious god, its an AI model that is smarter than all humans on this planet on every subject. It can keep improving itself through RSI(this is what I think would ultimately to lead to AGI as breakthroughs are already made in this technique). Expect an AGI by end or mid of next year.

Also, I would not rule out the conscious probability too early either, because the models we use comes with safeguards/guardrails.

I think the US is taking this chance to build its energy independence within the Western Hemisphere. They do not want to play the 'protector of the world' anymore, and they are moving their military bases or even leaving some of them. Trump didn't help Saudi Arabia recently either, and even congratulated them on the defense pact with Pakistan and Turkey. We are going through a massive deglobalization phase here.

I think Trump is doing great overall except a few things maybe. I would definitely prefer Trump over Modi...but of course this is just an outsider view.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabia has informed European refiners that they will be allocated no crude oil next month amid the East-West pipeline shutdown, per Bloomberg.

European customers normally receive Saudi Arabian crude oil shipments on "term contracts," which are meant to ensure a steady flow of crude oil supply every month.

Countries in Europe imported 577,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Saudi Arabia prior to the shutdown.

Europe is facing its worst energy crisis in history.

I think its meant to cut oil supply to China as Venezuela and Iran both were a massive oil suppliers to them and slow down their economy while simultaneously securing oil supply for US and maintain energy independence. US is importing 0 oil from Saudi Arabia now. Trust me America it doing much better on oil prices compared to other nations who import oil. See what is happening with EU, India, etc. The only issue US has is its fiscal deficit for whatever stupid, logical or political reasons. US taxation is crazy. Like who pays $833 of taxes on a $4500/month interest payment. Crazy! 😅

I recently got a dog and I quickly learned that a puppy needs to be taken out every hour to pee for up to 6 months. Otherwise, it won’t ever be trained.

I found a moisture sensor that sounds an alarm that could train the dog—but it was a tiny strip that didn’t cover much floor space.

So I asked AI to find the engineer who built it, it reached out to him, he shared his supplier in China and sent the original order documents, then the bot drafted the larger version along with a CAD model and it’s getting manufactured now.

Software problems are solved.

Atom [and dog] problems are next.
