In honor of the fact that we have 2 days left until we start our summer schedule, today we recognize our own #2 Ellouise Koester!

Ellouise, better known to us as "Weezie," "Weez," "The Weez," or "Jungle Cat" 🐈, is a 2029 LHP/1B that has been one of the best pitchers in the 2029 age group for several years now as a member of USA Prime National. Weez keeps hitters off balance with an arsenal of change, rise, fastball, and one of the best curveballs in the age division that she can throw to various levels and at various speeds. She has a very mature presence in the circle ⭕️, which has likely developed from pitching big game after big game, much like she had to do last summer at PGF Nationals in California, where she pitched 5 GAMES in a row to lead our team into the PGF National Championship game. As a teammate, Weez has a heart of gold 💛 and absolutely loves both just hanging out with her teammates as well as competing alongside them every weekend to work towards the common goal of winning championships. Like the other pitchers on our team, Weez is considered mostly a quiet kid with a business-like approach in the circle, but her teammates both love and respect her maturity and fun spirit and look to her as a calming presence when things get tough on the field. When Weez isn't cooking in the circle and pouncing on come-backers like a Himalayan Snow Leopard, you can find her cooking up some amazing eats with her sisters on their homemade show "Cooking with Weezie."👩‍🍳 Although we would all love to try some of Weezie's culinary creations 🍲, we'd much rather watch her make hitters look silly on the weekends playing in a USA Prime uniform. 🇺🇸 Weezie's unhittable arsenal, calming presence on the field, and unmatched consistency in the circle are a few of the reasons why she will be playing high level softball on a college field one day!!! 💪💪💪‼️‼️‼️

In honor of the fact that we have 3 days left until we start our summer schedule, today we recognize our own #3 Maddie Davis!

Maddie is a 2029 C/IF that bats from the left side and hits in the leadoff spot for USA Prime National. Maddie has quickly made a name for herself on the national stage, with many other coaches often referring to her as "one of the best softball players I've seen at her age." With her unique ability to bunt, slap, hit for average, and hit for power, Maddie has become one of the most dominant forces in the 2029 age group and continues to produce offensive numbers rivaled by very few players in the country. In addition to the offensive production, Maddie flashes a powerful arm 💪 , great speed, and the ability to play multiple positions extremely well on the defensive side of the ball, including 3B, SS, and catcher. Maddie has also overcome some difficulty in her life, which she has turned into motivation to be great. At age 5, her father passed away from cancer, and this is what has motivated and driven Maddie to work hard and pursue her dreams of becoming a college softball player. As a teammate, Maddie loves ❤️ and cares for her all of her teammates and just loves to compete with her friends as she challenges everyone to be the best they can be on and off the softball field. Her personality can best be described as sweet but with an "all business" approach when it comes to competition. Maddie's one-of-a-kind 1️⃣ skillset, high softball IQ 🧐, ability to hold herself and her teammates accountable, and loving personality towards her friends and the game of softball are just a few of the reasons Maddie will be playing at the highest level of college softball in the future!!! 🥎 🥎🥎‼️‼️‼️

In honor of the fact that we have 5 days left until we start our summer schedule, today we recognize our own #5 Mackenzie Fritsch!

Mackenzie, more affectionately known as "Mack", is a 2029 2B/UT that flashes the rare combination of hitting for average, hitting for power, and defending the middle of the field with quick hands, elite footwork, and exceptional range. Mack is another one of our OG's, having also been on the team since coach pitch and also never having been in the travel transfer portal! Mack is a high energy player who has the ability to fire up 🔥 her teammates with a big hit, a diving catch, or sometimes even by doing something as simple as drawing a walk in a big spot in a close game. Mack is the kid that we describe simply as "a ball player," as she has no limits to what she can do on a softball field. 🥎 She is extremely athletic, has a very high skill level, and an even higher softball IQ to go with it. Mack developed this high IQ by being a student of the game, being extremely coachable, and by also not being afraid to ask a lot of questions 🙋‍♀️ throughout her softball journey. Mack's energy is infectious, and her teammates love her not only because she can do EVERYTHING on a softball field, but she can do it all with a big smile and a love for the game that is unmatched. Mack is truly a coaches dream 💭, and we can't wait to see where this journey takes her!! Mack's infectious energy, enormous skillset on both sides of the ball, and true love for the game are just a few of the reasons you will see her on a big-time college softball field one day!!! 👊👊👊‼️‼️‼️

In honor of the fact that we have 6 days left until we start our summer schedule, today we recognize our own #6 Mollie Anglin!

Mollie, better known to us as "Moo", is a 2030 1B/OF who is a true left-handed triple threat (bunt, slap, hit) on the offensive side of the ball and an outstanding defender who can play both 1B and outfield at a high level. Moo has been a staple on our team since its inception, one of the few remaining players who has been with the same team since coach pitch. Mollie is one of the rare kids who has never been in the travel softball transfer portal. 🥎 She is known not only for being a great player with eye-popping numbers year after year, but also for being one of the most clutch players on our team- seemingly delivering big hit after big hit in some of the biggest moments in our team's history. Moo can best be described as a "lion on the field and a lamb off the field" as she has a sweet demeanor and a heart of gold, that is until it comes to competing. 😳 When it comes to competition and winning, Moo will knock down her best friend AND take her lunch. 🥪 😂 In the dugout, Moo is the model teammate as she cheers hard for her teammates and truly desires and celebrates their successes. Her teammates love her for her calm demeanor, team-first mentality, and competitive spirit...a combination of characteristics that are hard to find all wrapped up in one player. Mollie's versatile skillset, humility and team-first mentality, and clutch gene (which she obviously got from her mother 😜) are the reasons we have no doubt she will be playing on the big stage one day at the highest college level!!! 🏆 🏆 🏆‼️‼️‼️

In honor of the fact that we have 9 days left until we start our summer schedule, today we recognize our own #9 Zoe Velazquez!

Zoe, or "Zo" as we call her, is a 2030 RHP who is widely recognized as one of the top pitchers in her class. 🔝 She showcases a 64 mph fastball and an arsenal of change, curve, rise, screw, and drop that she can move to different levels and quadrants of the zone. Zoe commands the circle ⭕️ with her long, athletic frame and has a killer instinct that is unrivaled by very few pitchers at her age. On the surface, she comes across as being a quiet kid, but those who know her absolutely love her for her hilarious one-liners 🤣 and quick-witted personality that is mixed with a hint of sarcasm to keep her teammates laughing for hours and also not knowing what she will say next! 😳 Zoe thrives under pressure and loves to be in the circle when the game or the tournament is on the line! For her, no moment is ever too big. She is truly a one of a kind talent that we are happy and excited to have as a part of our USA Prime team. Zoe's elite level stuff, killer instinct in the circle, and uniquely hilarious personality are just a few of the reasons why you will see her on a big stage one day playing at the highest level of college softball! 🤩🤩🤩‼️‼️‼️
