Sources: New York traded No. 25 pick Sergio De Larrea to the Dallas Mavericks for No. 30 Koa Peat and two second-round picks. And then the Knicks traded Peat to the Phoenix Suns for three-rounders and cash. So Knicks move out of the first round -- pick up 5 seconds and cash.
Darryn Peterson:
“I’ll have a chip on my shoulder my whole career. I’ll take it out everybody not just on that guy [AJ Dybantsa] but on everybody.”

Knicks will have Sergio De Larrea's rights but, similar to Rokas Jokubaitis, they can keep those rights without signing him to an NBA contract. So he would not impact 2026-27 team salary. Every dollar counts for NYK, which is operating as team that will not exceed second apron.
"I found out when y'all found out. I didn't get a call, my dad had my phone the whole time."

Becky Hammon addresses Jalen Brunson and the Knicks winning a title:
“Jalen, all he did was prove history wrong, he proves he's an outlier, so you can put his name next to Steph Curry and Isiah Thomas, and I thought he played brilliantly, especially down the stretch.
I mean, he was that 1A dude, but like, apologize, I'm never gonna apologize for having an opinion. That's what ESPN pays me for.”

"Of note, the Knicks have been talking to teams about deals that include the No. 24 pick as recently as Tuesday morning."

Anfernee Simons is a name to watch for the Miami Heat, per @BobbyMarks42
"I think keep an eye on one name, Anfernee Simons. He's a free agent out there. If he's basically willing to go for the vet min and play out the year to restore his value, he'd fit in perfectly with this team"

Diamondbacks pitcher José Cabrera, who debuted on June 21, has the coolest bag I've ever seen. He said he carries his plyo balls inside this alligator bag. Fitting as his nickname is El Caimán aka the alligator.
ESPN sources: TE Kyle Pitts and the Atlanta Falcons reached agreement today on a three-year, $54 million contract that includes $36 million fully guaranteed. It is the largest three-year contract for a tight end in NFL history. David Mulugheta of Athletes First and Andre Odom confirmed the deal.
