@DonAzag Interesting breakdown, but the biggest issue is still accountability. Who exactly pushed the early narrative against VDM before evidence was clear?
The real question is-why was VDM dragged before the facts were confirmed?
Any indication of unauthorized access to restricted electoral systems should be thoroughly investigated. Democracy depends on transparency, accountability, and public confidence in electoral institutions. The relevant authorities should address these concerns openly and provide clear explanations backed by facts.

It is disappointing that people who claim to stand for a better Nigeria often become selective when it comes to speaking against oppression and injustice. Silence in certain situations only creates the impression that justice matters only when it affects personal interests or political convenience.
If we truly want a better Nigeria, then the fight against oppression, abuse of power, and unfair treatment must be consistent, regardless of who is involved. Leadership and activism should not be based on selective outrage. Nigerians deserve voices that will speak up at all times, not only when it benefits a particular agenda.
Many expected Omoyele Sowore and his supporters to address this matter openly, especially considering his long-standing position as an activist for justice and accountability. Remaining silent on issues like this raises concerns and leaves many people questioning the sincerity and consistency of that struggle.
A better Nigeria can only be achieved when justice is defended equally, without bias, favoritism, or selective activism. The same energy used to criticize one form of oppression should also be applied in every situation where the rights and dignity of citizens are being challenged.
They are demanding VDM’s prosecution over an alleged fake audio of President Tinubu. But did they actually verify the claims first? Why the rush for legal action before a full investigation?

As workers return to work this morning after two days of public holidays, let's ask an important question.
What should be the minimum monthly wage required for a Nigerian worker to live decently in today's economy?
Not just to survive.
Not just to pay transport fares and buy food.
But to afford decent housing, quality healthcare, good education for their children, transportation, savings, recreation, and a dignified standard of living.
If you worked full-time, what monthly salary would allow you and your family to live comfortably in Nigeria today?
₦200,000?
₦500,000?
₦1,000,000?
Or more?
Tell us your figure and explain why.
A nation's minimum wage should guarantee dignity, not poverty.
