The states who formed that instrument, being sovereign & independent, have the right to judge of its infraction & nullification is the rightful remedy. -TJ #10A
Kudos to @RealDonaldTrump for his dramatic declassification and transparency order. A historic day in the battle against government corruption! https://t.co/fF2Cz2ZSg9 via @JudicialWatch
Happy #ConstitutionDay. We should never forget the Constitution wasn’t written to restrain citizen’s behavior it was written to restrain the government’s behavior.
This afternoon, Republicans and Democrats will vote yes on a nearly $150 billion spending bill loaded with corporate subsidies and nonessential items. Media will largely ignore it. Each side will later disingenuously blame the other for our government’s growing deficits and debt.
A lot of “experts” want you to believe that the feds can do just about anything they want under the “general welfare” clause of the #constitution.
But if it’s their view vs #ThomasJefferson, we know who we go with every time.

Yet as I look at the legislation you have sponsored this Congress I see not a single bill that would assert that the Administration has no Constitutional authority to be involved in Yemen and therefore NO money appropriated should be spent in the endeavor. Did I miss something?
