One person’s spending is another person's income. I have said it several times in my posts. It is the fundamental basis of the circular flow of income.
Every time someone demands lower prices for goods, they are demanding lower revenue for businesses. Prices and income are two sides of the same economic coin, demanding lower consumer prices and higher worker wages at the same time is a contradiction.
Men.
Early 1900s: Must marry a virgin. Good family, good morals, feminine, knows how to run a home.
1950s: Must marry a respectable woman. Virgin preferred, low body count at least.
Late 1990s: Can marry her even if she's not a virgin.
2000s: It's OK to marry a single mom.
2010s: It's OK to marry a single mom of 2 with 2 different baby daddies and a past.
2020s: It's OK to marry her even if she's on OnlyFans, has a roster, hates men, and says "my past doesn't matter."
WOMEN:
Early 1900s:* Must marry a man who's financially stable to take care of her & her kids.
Late 1990s: Must marry a man who's financially stable to take care of her & her kids.
2000s: Must marry a man who's financially stable to take care of her & her kids.
2010s: Must marry a man who's financially stable, 6ft+, 6 figures, to take care of her & her kids from another man.
2020s: Must marry a man who's financially stable, 6ft+, 6 figures, with a house, no trauma, no kids of his own, who will take
care of her, her kids, her debt, her past, and still be told he's not enough.
Moral: men are the problem.
Are we sure we want a working country? talking about alot of people do more than this and they don't get punished, so we should allow something of life and death issue go unpunished because they are GenZ, where do you think all this politicians behaviour started from? Okay!
"How do I explain to my mother? Please, let us have a second chance" — One of the nursing students expelled for participating in a TikTok challenge cries out
The average Nigerian lacks order and social awareness. Everything is treated as cruise and banter until someone points out the lack of decorum, then it’s suddenly, “It’s not that deep” or “You’re too sensitive.”
Not everything is a joke. Every aspect of life has its dos and don’ts, boundaries, and basic standards of conduct. Learn to recognize them and, more importantly, respect them.
Imagine the ignorant take.
He left IBEDC, the LG chairman, the House of Assembly Member, and the Commissioner for Energy in Oyo State to drag a House of Representatives member for a blown transformer that the disco should naturally replace. It's even understandable if the community wasn't connected to the grid.
Legislators don't have budgets, and when they insert trillions of Naira in constituency projects in the FG budget, you shout "padding" but you will come later to ask them for transformers and roads.
When Legislators are busy buying transformers and desks for schools, how will they know that we are still operating under certain laws made in 1972?
So, when a woman hits a man and beats him up, it’s, “She cooked him! ”
But when a man beats up a woman, suddenly it’s, “That’s domestic violence! He should be arrested!”
So violence is only funny and acceptable when the woman is winning?
And it’s funny because she’s winning, right?
At its deepest root, inflation is a monetary problem. Too much money chasing too few goods. Nigeria printed ₦30 trillion between 2015 and 2023. It drove up inflation and crashed the value of the Naira.
You can now see the reason again why the government doesn't just push up the minimum wage. For example, paying a ₦750,000 minimum wage will lead to massive inflation.
I would like the developers of the game to include a BDC where you can change your money to Dollars. So that you can see the impact of too many people with Naira chasing a few dollars in the BDC market. You will see in real time how a currency value collapses when everyone wants to exchange it for dollars.
This was what happened to the Naira; everyone was speculating and everyone had a domiciliary account to keep FX. Nobody wanted to save in Naira. This is one of the reasons why the CBN had to increase interest rates.
Also, when the government pegs the value of the exchange rate, and there is no FX in the CBN reserve to back the value up, the black market rate shoots up. If the government fails to move the peg, the government will have to print money to cover the shortfall.
For example, if the CBN sold $10 billion to defend the peg at ₦400 while the black market rate is ₦750, the CBN gets ₦4 trillion instead of ₦7.5 trillion. Meanwhile, the ₦3.5 trillion, which is the black market arbitrage, vanishes into the pockets of speculators, politicians, and bankers engaging in round-tripping.
To make up for this shortfall in revenue, the Federal Government has to either borrow or fall back on the CBN printing money.
I remember when I told my uncle, who is British but based in Nigeria, to help me start a business while we were on call.
He asked me how much capital I needed.
I said, “Sir, I can start with like ₦5m. That was the last time I heard from him.
Even the ₦30k he used to send me once in a while stopped. Ati ₦5m, ati ₦30k… I no see anything again.
When I relocated, this man patiently waited until I had been in the UK for about a year.. One day be called me and asked why I had hissed and ended the call when my brother asked me for ₦2m.
Let me take you guys back small. Earlier that day, my last born called me to beg me for ₦2m. I was dumbfounded. ₦2m?
“Are you getting married?”
“Did you impregnate someone?”
“Is somebody blackmailing you?”
“You want to change your kidney?”
He just kept saying no to everything. I got very angry so I angrily hissed and ended the call bevauze what exactly are you “urgently” needing my hard-earned ₦2m for?
So I said to my uncle, why would he casually ask me for 2m? Did he kill somebody for me?”
Then he said, “When you asked me for ₦5m a few years ago, did I kidnap somebody for you? Did I steal money for you?
I have never seen an old man that shamelessly petty before.
Anyways, long story short… now I understand.

Many Nigerians are silently keying into it. I have also advised a number of clients on this opportunity.
I have a friend that invested in his university friends. Their start up blew up and dude is just chilling and travelling. He told me friendship is his biggest asset.
The top is lonely because you choose to travel up alone.
Men are hilarious 😂 A man spent unsolicited money on me for almost a year trying to get between my legs. It didn’t work, so we became friends.
Now he keeps asking me to invest in his businesses or buy him things. Sir… are you trying to recoup your investment? 😭😂
I didn’t ask you to spend it in the first place. WHO BE FOOL?
I beg you, this October
