Weโve become desensitized to what a billion naira is due to constant headlines of embezzlement.
1 billion naira will pay a โฆ500k monthly salary to 10 people for over 16 YEARS!!
There is no current record of income and spending of the Federation today.
None
Budget Office, DMO, CBN, MoF: no Federation record of income, Expenses, Assets, or Liabilities is current up to a 30-day cycle. I know where to check, nothing is current.
So how can citizens like myself "hold" my government to account?
Can you imagine going to a PLC and pulling up their accounts page and seeing "please check back"
@MR__Sulaiman1 Wait...
Where is the airport...?
You said it veered off the runway...
That runway must be very short to have this much bushes around...
This place looks like some remote location. It even looks like an abandoned farm...
@osloAMINGO@Okoliest@TheNationNews Truly dami was right...
The only person dumber than a Muslim is a Nigerian Muslim.
How do we recognize Maryam for the glory she brought to the nation when we don't even know what she looks like...
Stop reasoning like cows.
Not everyone lacks self control like you.
@oladipyPrz@AlmightyZeus111@TheNationNews You sound retarded...
How can we celebrate someone who people can't recognize in public...
The reason your classmates can recognize you is because they have seen your face.. how will her state, peers, the nation celebrate who they can't even see her face.
@kasalioluw82460@TheNationNews What has the religion got to do with the congratulations?
People don't even know who they are congratulating...
How will the nation recognize her when they can't see her face....
You guys should think with your head...
Face covered.. just eyes...
How are we going to give recognition to Maryam for representing Nigeria when Nigerians don't know what she looks like... No face to identify her...
14 years with face fully covered...
We need to do better...
@osloAMINGO@ebincodegreat@TheNationNews We want to see the person who has made the nation proud....
How can we celebrate Maryam when we don't know what she looks like...
How can she be an inspiration to other kids when they don't know what she looks like...
Who will recognise Maryam if she walks by? Nobody.
@kunlesanni0007@TheNationNews Last I checked Islam has more perverts... She is covering up like a masquerade because of Muslim men who lack self control.
@ThePChris That's why knowing how to swim is a must have skill...
It should be introduced to all our primary schools..
It should even be part of the curriculum...
@EmekaLectern Sorry man...
Back in my time when we started fupre.. there were only 4 buildings ๐
Admin building, college of science, lt1 building and the hostel... Lack of water and power was a regular thing back then.
Good morning @naptipnigeria, what exactly is your job? Everyday in this country children are beaten, tortured, and mutilated beyond recognition and also forced to eat human shit by the exact same culprits IGBO WOMEN but you say nothing.
Feminists, the virtue-signaling group which pretends to be concerned with the affairs of the girl child are never interested since the usual culprits are women. The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social
Development which is the primary federal agency responsible for child welfare, rights, and protection in Nigeria @FMWA_ng never does anything. Governors of the 5 Eastern States never bother, and the few times citizens action have led to the arrest of the women involved, it seems no punishment was given, no court cases, no justice for the abused children, and these women devils are allowed to go back home to continue from where they stopped.
Since my childhood I have lived in many small Igbo communities "outside the South East" and this was very common in Igbo households where the madam was either severely assaulting their usually underage made or the Oga was raping them. Most households had these maids. Most. And the maids never exceeded 6 to 13 years of age. The easiest way to notice them was the stark difference between them and the normal children of other human beings. They usually wore rags, looked frail and beggarly, and always had fresh scars every new day. Within the South East which was/is the headquarters of course it is obvious this problem would be worse. In 2026, nothing has changed, because there is no consequence for such "crimes" and no justice for affected children, majority of whom are little girls.
I continue to maintain that this barbarism that has plagued us must not be allowed to linger. Igbo women (and their accomplice husbands) are not gods, they should be held accountable for these crimes against humanity and responsible agencies must be established to actually look into protecting vulnerable children, and investigating and prosecuting crimes against them.
Children are the future. What becomes of our society tomorrow if we kฤฏll them all today? This has to stop. Now.
@Manjulvic 'Bundu Waterside'
It has been long I heard this name Bundu ๐๐๐๐๐
Last time I reached this place was in my secondary school days at emarid college... How time flies...
All their children school abroadโ ๏ธโผ๏ธ
But there is you, eating once a day, can't afford to pay tuition fees at Rivers State University, sleeping in a Bacha in Bundu Waterside, shouting โWike is our leaderโ
Una too mumu walahi๐ช๐
