As part of my ongoing meetings with various identifiable groups, my policy team and I had an engaging and productive session today with the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
We had fruitful discussions focused on innovative solutions to address various problems in areas such as Urban transport, infrastructure, public procurement and value for money amongst others. No nation can develop without the valuable input of engineers, scientists, technologists and other professionals and we are determined to make sure we factor in their inputs as we put together policies to solve many of Ghana’s problems.
My sincere thanks to the President of the Ghana Institution of Engineering, the President-Elect, the Vice-President and other members who kindly attended the meeting to share their ideas.
God bless our homeland Ghana!
"I have no doubt that Ghanaians will work with us to show this government the exit in 2028." - Mohammed Amin Adam, Former Finance Minister

Thierry Henry on Norway’s goal being disallowed for a foul.
🗣️ “This is exactly why people are losing faith in refereeing. Norway’s player clearly puts both hands into the defender’s back, creates the space, scores… and now people are acting shocked that it’s been ruled out? Come on.
The problem isn’t that the goal was disallowed—the problem is the inconsistency. One week that’s given, the next week it isn’t. Players, managers, and fans have absolutely no idea what the standard is anymore.
I don’t care how good the finish was. If you shove a defender to create the chance, you’ve given the referee a decision to make. But if you’re going to disallow that, then be brave enough to punish every identical incident for every team. That’s what frustrates everyone.
VAR was brought in to make football fair, yet every big game ends with people arguing about officials instead of talking about the football. That’s not progress that’s failure.
The referee and VAR have to stop hiding behind slow-motion replays and start applying the laws consistently. Fans can accept difficult decisions, but they will never accept different rules for different teams. That’s what’s destroying trust in the game.”
🚨🗣️New: Erling Haaland on why England’s equalizer through Bellingham against Norway should not have stood:
“I don’t care how big the moment was, that goal should never have counted. The Laws of the Game are there for everyone. If the ball hits a camera cable and it changes the flight, that’s outside interference. Play stops. It’s a dropped ball. Simple.”
“Instead, England score, the whole momentum changes, and suddenly Norway are chasing a completely different game. Moments like that decide international tournaments.”
“Now imagine the exact same thing happened in a match involving Argentina and Messi. Be honest with yourselves, football wouldn’t hear the end of it. Every TV show, every podcast and every social media account would be calling it one of the biggest refereeing scandals of the tournament. But because it’s England, somehow people are expected to move on.”
“Consistency is all players ask for. Either the Laws apply every game, or they don’t.”
In line with the directive of the Party leadership and His Excellency the President, I urge all my constituents and the good people of Okaikwei Central Constituency to fully support and comply with the President’s directive on the two-day nationwide clean-up exercise scheduled for Friday, 10th July, to Saturday, 11th July 2026.
Let us all observe the guidelines and actively participate in keeping our communities clean. Together, we can create a healthier, safer, and more beautiful environment for everyone.
Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Claude LeRoy on Gianni Infantino: “I am shocked this man is still head of FIFA. I don’t get how we can accept that he is the only candidate for the next election.
He has one quality, he's a multilingual — a multilingual idiot, dangerous for football...” (lequipedusoir)
@mygtvsports FIFA president who disrespect referees decision and allowed a player that has band to play next match to play.......we are seeing another daylight corruption in FIFA president and US president
