Understanding why people end it for themselves.
There's this dark spiral if not belonging and loss of where I belong in this world.
I don't know what career I want to take and what would make me happy in the long run.
I don't know if I am able to dig myself out of this one.
I came to this conclusion a long time ago, but I need to air this out or it'll wander with me for a while.
My ex boyfriend never..loved me.
I really was confused about how much he resented me. He wouldn't kiss me because of my morning breath,
He never wanted to be under the same blanket as me because my legs weren't shaved clean enough or too often. I wasn't the right anything for this guy. He was so disgusted by me. And what's so funny about that all is that I idolized him. I thought he was everything I ever wanted.
I made it. I have my first home and it came so..easily. I am safe. I am calm. I'm not always wondering where my partner is, or if he loves me. If he's cheating or if I'm allowed to lay my head on his chest.
I'm doing okay. Every day I try to kill that part of you that scars me.
When I finally let go, my life ...kind of skyrocketed? And it's not an ego stroke- I just think that I finally was able to focus on my goals. He wasn't the thing that was corrupting my mind anymore. My first priority wasn't pleasing a man that would never love me.
It took a lot to finally let it all go. To find something what I truly deserved. It took a while to accept that I wasn't this grotesque creature that I was made out to be. That I convinced myself I was.
I realized how stagnant that environment made me.
After leaving my abuser....
I physically blossomed.
I saw myself as a beautiful person.
My life got better. I was no longer stagnant.
I was financially free.
I began my career.
I bought my first home!!!!
I am just so happy. I am fulfilled. I am free.
