Thank you to the @OCPSnews School Board for selecting me to lead. This is my home and I’m so proud to serve our students, families, teachers and employees as your next Superintendent.

Tonight, the School Board of Orange County voted unanimously to a motion to approve Dr. Maria Vazquez as the next superintendent. She is the current deputy superintendent for Orange County Public Schools and will be the first Hispanic superintendent in OCPS.

Today was letter V and we got to visit a 1st grade classroom! We had lots of questions but I think these Kinders are ready to be 1st graders now! 💯

Our National Elementary Honor Society had their final meeting and celebration of the year. We are so proud of all they accomplished and thankful to Ms. Valdes for all of her support of this amazing group of students! #BePrinceton

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders enjoyed a movie at “Panther Cinema” complete with freshly popped popcorn as a reward for all of their hard work during testing! We are so proud of our kids!
