THE CULT OF THE EXPERT

On a universal scale you know nothing,
But knowing nothing is a good thing to know,
Does understanding begin with you're thinking,
Experience will eventually show

Then is it action which turns the pages of history?
Although many thoughts may be gathered and then captured,
However an expert may then lay claim, so thoughts may be
Corrupted, instead of experienced and enraptured

Intellectually, many people admit they can't know anything with absolute certainty.
Emotionally, many of those people react as though certain beliefs are unquestionably true.
So a gap appears between what people say they know and how they behave when their beliefs are challenged.

It helps if you realise whether or not you're being "emotionally engineered".

MAINTAIN THE CONFLICT
RATHER THAN RESOLVING IT

Is this what happens?

• Societies create identities.
• Human beings inherit and adopt those identities as reality.
• Identities create divisions.
• Divisions create conflicts.
• Conflicts become self-perpetuating.

This thing rankled like a worm in my brain
Which, awakened in the night preventing my sleep,
In the morning, there the 'thing' was again,
Like a non-sense 'thing' I had no need to keep.

NO NEED TO KEEP

So, like most everyone, I did this 'thing',
The detail is really of no consequence,
I made this 'thing' up using thinking,
Imagining it as thought that seemed to make sense.

I felt anxious about this 'thing' I'd imagined,
Possible actions in the future were involved,
The 'thing' took on the scale I'd envisioned
But, as a non-sense riddle which could not be solved,

Although the idea of those other's being,
Being measured in the billions,
Misses the point one should be seeing
That all is one connected eternal eon

There really are no borders,
There's only obstacles,
Those people giving orders
Are not your owners using shackles,
