As a solo dev the hardest part right now is splitting my efforts in the art and technical side and then getting traction on this account. It's just brutal.
AI is helping me learn when I'm stuck. I've never had a better teacher. Doing a flicker shader in Unreal for my first asset in game. Dont one-shot GTA 6 with a prompt or you'll get slop, I guess thats the takeaway
Making anything significant requires a lot of commitment! Ive been struggling to figure out the asset creation workflow with Blender and Unreal and I could have given up a few times. NGL now that I kinda have it figured it out it feels good man.
@UnrealEngine As a solo dev I dont see AI as a problem. I mean, how am I supposed to do a virtual world without any help anyway? Thats just delusional. Even with AI, I have a feeling I might never get there.
With the help of Hermes im setting up an Obsidian vault to organise ideas, assets. This Hermes profile has been pushing me to execute!! Poormaxxing so using GLM 5.1. Still quite impressive and makes me wonder how much better something like Fable 5 could be... :'(
