MOTU's unfortunate box office numbers made people say "See?! See?! Gen Z doesn't care about old stuff!"
Well I am Gen Z and I absolutely care. You don't speak for me. Old stuff has more personality and charm than the "hip" and "cool" media made by my fellow young people.
One thing I noticed that hasn't been said yet is that Gen X (the people who grow up with MOTU) primarily go to the theater on their own time now. I've spoken to so many adults in my family who are excited for MOTU but they couldn't have been bothered to see it on opening week.
I’ll never forget the time an interviewer asked Johnny Knoxville about the homoerotic subtext in Jackass and he got mad at them for calling it subtext.
Skeletor reconociendo que es villano porque es malo y le gusta serlo, nada de blanqueamiento de sus acciones con pasados traumáticos ni buscando algo para empatizar con él.
Micheal bay put dogs having gay sex, a robot humping the leg of the female lead actor, a robot with gigantic testicles and a robot with an oversized penis. All in a movie aimed at children. Masters of the Universe does NOTHING comparable to that
And he’s gay, like I’m not being a woke libtard that make everything gay for no reason he is explicitly homosexual and zones out repeatedly in the movie while talking about He-Man’s dick and thighs
That's taking place inside Adam's brain. He's mocking him for being a failure and working corporate HR all his adult years on Earth.
Please have some fun with the movie with the characters with spring-loaded necks and skull-faces.
not to defend amaz0n but this is kind of exactly how they should be monitoring movies they put out lol like trusted filmmaker puts out a movie most audiences enjoy, critics seemingly like and it makes no money and they’re like ok well
