What not many people realise about UK student loans is that earners in the middle of the salary range end up paying back far more than either lower or higher earners, as they earn enough to pay the loan and interest back before the 30 year cut off, but not enough to pay it off early before the interest balloons.

Someone earning £70k ends up paying almost double someone on £150k.

Yesterday, we went down to Brixton tube station for the last ever day of Brixton News, one of the capital's last specialist news stands. TfL are raising the rent on the unit Pritesh Patel and his brother run from £40,000 a year to £125,000 a year, something they cannot afford.

@MATCHESFASHION mis-sold me a Raey dress as supposedly high quality cashmere: the dress started to disintegrate after wearing for ONE hour: Matches did not provide accurate info. After 2 months of emails, Matches is refusing to provide a refund. Look at this item after 1hr:

@British_Airways after calling yesterday for my refund, I was told to call back today. Today, BA tells me that the refund has been refused. This is after agreeing to a refund of £215.18 in MAY. Now BA says the refund does not exist.

@MATCHESFASHION my complaint is since Sept, inc. 2 calls on hold for 55 mins. You sold me a faulty item, after 2 months refused me a refund. You provided a label, but now saying you will send the faulty item back to me?! What on earth happened to your brand?
