@ShipleyWrites My pad mate knew I was going to have a crap one due to missing my kids so they blew their canteen on haribo, Cherryade and charcoal facemasks. Skin felt great though! The dinner was terrible but the thought of 2 grown men pigging out and wearing facemasks always makes me smile

@ShipleyWrites Anticlimactic is a good word to use! I imagined the gates opening and the air being cleaner and a light breeze hitting my face. Instead I was just in this huge car park in the middle of nowhere with two massive see through bin liners full of shit I’d accumulated

Since the removal of tag curfew I have secured a role within a film production team as a sound engineer and working in an environment where I can thrive and reclaim my confidence in my ability. Highlights how restrictive a tag can be for rehabilitation and encouraging self worth

@cellsecrets I got pulled aside and had my pad spun for ‘suspicious behaviour’ when I’d exchanged a packet of ginger biscuits for two cartons of milk and an apple. The general consensus that we’re all hustling spice is ridiculous, the vast majority are just trying to live and get through it
