Her total savings were ₹1,61,216.

She does not own any land. No big house. Her husband works as a daily wage labourer.

She asked for votes the same way she once asked for work. She went door to door.

In 2021, she lost the election by about 11,000 votes.

A woman who cleaned other people’s homes stood in front of people with honesty and said I wanted to serve you. In 2026, she returned and won by 12,535 votes. 1,07,692 people voted for her.

Now she will sit in the West Bengal Assembly.

This is real women’s empowerment.

Bundles of white sarees were found inside a TMC office. This is not just about sarees.

In 2024, in Sandeshkhali, a white saree and flowers were sent to a BJP worker’s home with the message, “You say Hari, I will say Hari Bol,” a slogan chanted during funeral processions.

In February 2026, in Birbhum, a white saree, flowers, and agarbatti were sent to a BJP worker’s home with the same message.

White sarees are worn by widows. By sending white sarees, TMC gives the message that they will kill your husband and make you a widow.

TMC is more criminal than you can imagine.

For those who have have forgotten Sandeshkhali

TMC leaders, primarily MLA Sheikh Shahjahan, unleashed a reign of terror against Hindus and tribals, particularly women, in Bengal's Sandeshkhali region.

Shahjahan and his jehadi goons targeted beautiful or young married women, with door-to-door identification.

Shahjahan would demand that Hindu women be sent to his TMC office to spend the night. He would say, "They may be your wife or daughter but we own them."

The jehadi MLA openly said: "Yes, I'm a Bangladeshi. I have nothing to do with India. I just want Hindu and tribal women." The police, which was under the TMC, would help him abduct women.

Women seeking jobs were told: "Come to the TMC office and remove your sari. If I like, I'll give you the job."

TMC leader Muzaffar asked the BJP Mahila Morcha president Pinki to come to him for a night.

Soon after the results, all Hindu families left the village as TMC goons wanted their women in bed with them.

Pinki's husband says that Muzaffar had told him, "Send your wife to me for a night and stay in the village."
