A user can select a private-company market and choose between a long or short position, with leverage available up to 10×. Before committing, the platform presents key information including the entry price, liquidation level, and applicable 0.10% taker fee.

There are thousands of private companies around the world with valuations, funding rounds, investors, products, and real businesses behind them. Yet traders have almost no way to access these companies through an open perpetual market.

That’s the market we’re building for.

Private Perps is creating perpetual markets around private companies allowing users to trade assets that have historically been completely outside the traditional trading ecosystem.

This is an entirely new category of perpetual markets, built around an untapped segment of the global company landscape.

Yeah, with the current $2,000 starting treasury, there is counterparty risk if there are unusually large simultaneous winning positions.

Fees generated from our token, $PRIVATE, will go directly into the treasury, especially when there are pending payouts, helping increase available liquidity over time.

The main utility of $PRIVATE is trading fee waivers.

Holders with 100K $PRIVATE will have 0 platform fees on their trades.

The platform is already live, but this token utility is not live yet. We’re currently working on it and will enable it soon.

Not a random number. We use Yahoo Finance data to source the available valuation/pricing data, which is updated over time.

For the treasury, we’re starting with around $2,000–$5,000. The current model is simple: traders who lose contribute to the treasury, while winning positions are paid out from the treasury, subject to the platform’s available liquidity and risk limits.

We’ll also open-source the treasury logic and expose it through the dashboard, so anyone can verify how the system works and where the funds are.

Private Perps is our way of opening a market that traders have mostly been locked out of.

There are thousands of private companies around the world that people follow every day. People talk about their valuations, funding rounds, products, growth and whether they think those companies are going somewhere. But unless you are an early investor or have access to private markets, there is usually nothing you can actually do with that opinion.

We want to change that.

With Private Perps, you will be able to trade perpetual markets based on private companies and other assets that are not listed on public stock exchanges. You can go long if you believe a company is growing and being undervalued, or go short if you think the market is getting ahead of itself. Positions can use up to 10× leverage.

The part we care about most is that this should not be limited to a few famous American companies either. There are private businesses being built in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and everywhere else. Some of them are already huge, some are still early, and some may never even become publicly listed.

We still think people should be able to trade them.

There are already enough platforms where you can trade the same crypto assets, the same stocks and the same markets over and over again. We do not want Private Perps to become another version of that.

Companies people normally have to wait years to trade. Businesses that may still be several funding rounds away from an IPO. Private assets that have attention, demand and opinions around them, but no open market for traders.
