Official account of Peoples Reconciliation Movement (PRM)
Building a united Uganda through reconciliation, peace & dialogue. Umoja na Amani — Tupanishe Uganda
We are live.
This is the official account of the Peoples Reconciliation Movement (PRM).
We believe Uganda's future must be built on:
Reconciliation over revenge.
Dialogue over division.
Peace, service & shared progress.

@KwikirizaNova Political disagreements should never turn into insults against family members. Marriage does not make someone an “infiltrator,” and disagreement does not make someone a “hooligan.”
Uganda needs leaders who lower the temperature, not raise it. Umoja na Amani Tupanishe Uganda.
@mkainerugaba Afande Political disagreements should never turn into insults against family members. Marriage does not make someone an “infiltrator,” & disagreement does not make someone a “hooligan.”
Let's consider reconciliation. Umoja na Amani Tupanishe Uganda.
@mkainerugaba Uganda does not need another lesson in confrontation. We need a lesson in reconciliation, constitutionalism and respect for every Ugandan’s dignity.
Wherever they are, Lukwago, Besigye and every citizen deserve due process and justice.
Umoja na Amani — Tupanishe Uganda. 🇺🇬
@DavidLRubongoya PRM believes that justice must be accessible to every Ugandan, regardless of political affiliation.
The law must take its course through a fair process
We call for due process, fairness and respect for human dignity.

@PFFUganda We in PRM stand with @PF_Front4Freedom.
A man who cannot walk or speak belongs in hospital, not a prison cell. Chasing away his caregivers is cruelty.
Prison authorities must take responsibility for his life. Grant him health, care & bail #FreeKizzaBesigye#RightToHealth

The People’s Front for Freedom strongly condemns the continued harassment, unlawful confinement and blatant disregard for human dignity demonstrated by state in the ongoing mistreatment of Dr. Kizza Besigye.
Dr. Besigye has been forcibly removed from medical oversight, wrapped up and hauled into detention cells while in an extreme state of physical debilitation. His caregivers have been chased away from Luzira Staff Hospital, this marks a grave escalation in this political persecution.
Dr. Besigye is currently in a critical condition where he cannot walk, speak or hold objects. Placing an individual in such severe physical distress into detention cells is reckless, cruel and violates basic human rights standards. The state’s deliberate action to dismiss and chase away his primary caregivers, leaving him completely unassisted and without essential care, amounts to deliberate negligence and psychological torture.
Denying a critically incapacitated citizen access to specialized care, legal counsel and personal support is a direct violation of constitutional protections and international conventions on human rights.
The regime must take full responsibility for Dr. Besigye’s health, safety and physical well-being while under state custody.
We call upon all citizens, civil society organizations and the international community to speak out against this cruelty and demand the immediate restoration of Dr. Besigye’s rights and proper medical care.

@Winnie_Byanyima@kizzabesigye1 We stand in solidarity with you @Winnie_Byanyima and family during this painful time.
We call upon the Prison Authorities and Court to respect Article 24, freedom from cruel treatment and grant bail on medical grounds. Justice without humanity is not justice.

We join H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni and Maama @JanetMuseveni in celebrating their daughter Patience Rwabwogo on her consecration as Bishop of Covenant Nations Churches.
From Mzee Kaguta joining Church in 1947 to raising a Bishop in the family in 2026. This is a testimony
@BalaamBarugahar Hon. You are right to be shocked Tokwe Bridge at UGX 350M without steel is not just corruption, it is attempted murder of the people of Bundibugyo. And 5 bridges washed away is not bad luck, it is a system of theft.
As PRM, we fully support this call for accountability.......
Hon. Balaam, the fight against corruption must not become a cover for early campaigning. That erodes public trust. Let anti corruption tours remain that. Uganda needs a level playing field for all. That's what the rule of law and reconciliation demands.

We believe our greatest strength is not in division, but in our ability to listen, reconcile and work together.
This is the spirit of the People’s Reconciliation Movement.

Good morning Uganda! 🇺🇬
This Sunday, remember:
Reconciliation begins in the heart. Before we fix the nation, we must fix our relationships with God, with neighbour, with self.
Let us choose forgiveness over bitterness, unity over division, service over self.
Bessed Sunday
As PRM, we welcome Pastor Enoch Adeboye to Uganda. True & faith has strengthened our African heritage. Love, forgiveness and service are at the heart of reconciliation. We congratulate Patience Museveni on her consecration as Bishop tomorrow. #Reconciliation#PRM
Today, Maama Janet and I welcomed and hosted Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his dear wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the global leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God from Nigeria, at State House Entebbe.
Christianity has added value to our ancient African cultures. Teachings such as loving your neighbour, loving even those with whom you disagree instead of seeking revenge, and the parable of the Good Samaritan are consistent with the NRM principle of putting interests above identity.
These values have strengthened our heritage as a people. We are grateful to Pastor Adeboye and all our friends who have come to witness the consecration of our daughter, Patience, as a Bishop tomorrow in Maya. We welcome you all.
@BalaamBarugahar Well done Hon. Balaam. Going to every district to audit performance & fighting those stealing gov't funds is exemplary leadership. As PRM, we fully support this clean up. Public money must work for the people
