PRM year in review🧵In 2024, @StatePRM led efforts to strengthen U.S. national security & international migration policy by building the capacity of partner countries’ migration and asylum systems, making it possible for people to integrate & build new lives where they are.

We also worked with global partners to implement innovative humanitarian solutions for refugees & vulnerable people in the face of unprecedented displacement & crises. U.S. humanitarian leadership helps mitigate the destabilizing effects of crises abroad on Americans at home.

Earlier today @SecBlinken announced nearly $200 M in additional humanitarian funding for the Sudan crisis, including over $104 M through @StatePRM to support lifesaving assistance & protection to vulnerable people & generous host communities throughout the region.

We need urgent action on increasing emergency relief for Sudan.
