@joshuartaylor I've not got any real preference. I think it all depends on price. If you pay 100 for a printer and it's a faf, then no big deal. If you pay 1000 for a printer and it's a faf, then theres a problem.

@jonathanalevi I've found at higher temps. the magnetisation of the bed can be reduced. You could use bulldog clips to hold it down.

@joshuartaylor I've got a Solidoodle. There is a lot of material on the bottom of the case. I'd say wood filaments would be prime for this.

@joshuartaylor I picked up a spares or repairs one. It was missing the hotend but other than that it was fine. I'll need to rejig a few bits and one of the small gears split but it's still trucking away.

It's been productive winter for the PRNT KTCHN despite the bad weather and occasional leaks.
I finally finished the Recreator 3D by @joshuartaylor and started producing filament in house at the PRNT KTCHN Paisley. 3D printers are all being converted to run on rPET. #Recreator
