The Indian Air Force salutes Sqn Ldr Onkar Singh (Retd) on his 100th birthday. His centenary celebrations were held at Base Repair Depot, Chandigarh, in the presence of Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, and senior serving and veteran Air Warriors. The centenarian officer stands as a living embodiment of the IAF ethos—Mission, Integrity and Excellence.

A Medical Camp was conducted at Phainuam and CIJW School, providing specialist consultations by Medical Specialists, Ophthalmologists, Gynecologists and Dentists to locals, Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris.

Cervical Cancer screening (PAP Smears) was also undertaken, while essential medical aids including BP monitors, glucometers, hearing aids, walkers, nebulizers, heating pads and respirometers were distributed to residents of Vairengte and Phainuam.

The seminar focused on enhancing logistics efficiency through greater jointness, effective resource management, expenditure optimisation and coordinated responses to national security contingencies.
