At Proclaim, we desire to create and cultivate a multi-ethnic community that celebrates and communicates God’s life changing love for the praise of His Glory.
@laurchastain22 I understand completely. We share his heartbeat for the ministry to the most vulnerable. We have witnessed the toxic side of church life. It is going to be a long road, but we are doing our best to build a community for the most vulnerable in society. He shares God’s heart.
@robphinisee1 Thank you Rob! We have enjoyed watching you play the game. You are one of our household favorites in an Indiana jersey. We can’t wait to see what your future holds. Keep inspiring Big Shot Rob! You are awesome. Blessings on the next chapter of your journey.
@JackieHillPerry Beautiful picture! When I see how believers treat each other inside the body of Christ, I know why unbelievers outside the body of Christ want nothing to do with it. How beautiful is Christ! Keep inspiring! Her testimony during these hearings is nothing short of black excellence.
If you have six hours to chop down a tree, invest the first three hours sharpening your axe. Never underestimate the power of preparation. A sharper axe will make for less stress and more success. Invest in yourself. It’s never a waste of time.
The majority of our stress does not come from doing too much, and having a busy agenda. The majority of our stress comes from doing too little of the very things that make us feel most alive.
Your impact on people is bigger than you think. Someone still laughs about the funny thing you said or did. Someone still feels encouraged by your compliment. Your love and support made a difference in someone’s life. Your life is not insignificant. You are a world changer.
You can love someone and still leave them. You might have to say goodbye, in order to move on. This doesn’t mean you will not miss them. Some people come into your life for a season and a reason. We can feel trapped in toxic relationships. There is freedom in letting go.
Love is not punishing other people for how they have hurt you or pushing other people away. Love is forgiving yourself, letting go of the pain. It is impossible to forgive others until you forgive oneself. Forgiveness is a form of reconciliation. It is making peace with the past.
Can you imagine, one day you are standing before God and He shows you this person? You are so embarrassed and say “That’s not me. I wish it was, but that is someone else.” God replies, “This is who I meant for you to be. This is the abundant life I had in store for you.” #inspire
When you think of our nation’s history on the one hand dealing with the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the immigrant, then on the other hand calling ourselves a Christian nation. The contrast is a sobering reality.
80 years ago, on February 19, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066. This led to the mass incarceration of around 120,000 people of Japanese descent - most of whom were American citizens.
I have an original poster from CA ordering people to the camps.
When you look at the increase in hate crimes, mass incarceration in for profit prison systems, human beings in cages on border, ICE deportation agenda, a broken foster care system, underfunded and neglected educational system in lower income areas, how are we reflecting Christ?
I thought as a follower of Christ, I would fall less and less. Oftentimes the opposite is true, yet I see more clearly His faithfulness. His mercies are new every morning. I am shattered by my struggles and shortcomings, yet at the same time secured in my Savior’s love.

@robphinisee1@IndianaMBB Great game Rob! You inspired everyone tonight. There will be posters made with this shot. My kids were playing basketball on a laundry hamper during the game and everyone wanted to be Rob Phinisee. Hoosiers for life! #ProclaimChurchIndy#Blessings
