At least three people have been reported dead in ongoing attacks south of Jos the capital of Plateau State in central Nigeria.

One person was killed in Yilpo village of Mangu district in Mangu LGA at minutes after midnight while two were killed in NTV village of Barkin Ladi.

As of 4am locally, active attacks remained in Manjahota village, 2miles southeast of NTV and surrounding areas.

TruthNigeria is issuing one of the most urgent terror alerts we have ever released.

According to intelligence received by TruthNigeria, hundreds of armed Fulani Ethnic Militia (FEM) fighters have assembled south of Jos and are preparing for coordinated, large-scale attacks in the coming hours.

These are not isolated villages. They are major population centers with thousands of civilians potentially at risk. Our intelligence indicates that FEM fighters have assembled in Plateau State from areas across Northern Nigeria in preparation for these attacks.

This threat follows waves of violence across Plateau State over the weekend. TruthNigeria reporters witnessed attacks south of Jos on Sunday, including armed militants advancing toward communities as civilians fled and Nigerian security forces responded. A pastor and church employee were among those killed.

TruthNigeria sources report that the Nigerian Army, Department of State Services (DSS), Mobile Police, and local community defenders have been engaging attackers across multiple fronts.

We commend the extraordinary courage of the Nigerian security personnel and community defenders who have stood their ground under fire to protect civilians.

But they need reinforcements NOW.

TruthNigeria urgently calls upon Nigeria's federal security leadership to immediately reinforce the forces defending Barkin Ladi, Mangu, Riyom, Bukuru and surrounding communities.

🚨 URGENT TERROR ALERT — JOS & TARABA, NIGERIA

Our sources warn that Fulani Ethnic Militia (FEM) terrorists are preparing attacks against Catholic churches and a popular market in Rayfield, Jos—potentially as early as Sunday morning during church services.

The threat follows the August arrest of Ardo Mahmuda Adam, whom our sources identify as a senior FEM leader in Nigeria’s Middle Belt. Intelligence indicates the current escalation may include efforts to avenge his arrest.

⚠️ TARABA: We are also receiving reports of armed FEM forces advancing across farmland in the Takum area, using thousands of cattle to destroy crops while armed men reportedly prevent farmers from accessing their land. Thousands of farmers now face devastating losses and potential hunger.
