Boasting well above-average size for the secondary (standing at a commanding 6'3" and 205 pounds) paired with an aggressive, downhill mentality, Macon acts as a formidable enforcer against the run. His elite length and fluid athleticism allow him to seamlessly turn and run with speedy slot receivers, while his sheer size makes him the perfect matchup piece to physically blanket bigger-framed wideouts on the perimeter. He is a true defensive weapon who possesses the instincts to roam freely and make massive plays on the football.

​During his collegiate career, culminating as a standout defensive anchor at Lincoln University (MO), Cory spent his time lending his highly versatile skill set to a multitude of positions. Whether he was asked to line up at nickel, safety, corner, or hybrid linebacker—Macon stepped in and absolutely excelled. Following college, Cory seamlessly transitioned to the professional ranks, earning opportunities to play in major indoor and arena leagues. He has utilized those valuable pro reps to continue refining his technique, mastering the speed of the professional game, and learning the ropes of what it takes to be a true pro.
