The mental health crisis among women is also growing because we continue to applaud selfishness and encourage self-serving conduct.. we are told to follow our volatile, often egocentric emotions, instead of making long-term, rational decisions. What we see normalized in rom-coms, and entertainment in general, is not healthy adult behavior.

Lack of self-control is now framed as "empowerment". Lack of any moral compass is framed as "freedom". Mid-life existential crisis is framed as "finding your truth". Responsibility and boundaries are framed as "oppression".

Love is not a feeling, it's a choice. Commitment is not a feeling, it's a choice.

When you love anything, you have to make difficult choices, compromises, and personal sacrifices for the greater good of the whole. It starts in interpersonal relationships, but carries into how we view responsibility to our neighbors and country as well. No wonder our civilization is at such a dangerous impasse. The "modern woman" will bring this country down..

Romantic comedies, novels, and “modern women” in media have taught women lust and self-serving behaviors are the same as love. Love is a choice you have to consciously make, and it has to be outward focused, not based on what we get from others or a fleeting feeling. As a society, we can only survive if we know how to serve and protect each other and the whole community.

This is a really weird thing to continue to defend. Also a genuinely dumb cope.. A set video proving nobody was actually killed while making the movie doesn’t prove the character “hit by the car” was not killed, injured, paralyzed or likewise traumatized by mind control in general… I’m waiting for the video proving half a building collapsing onto a busy manhattan street was just cgi so that didn’t kill anyone in-universe either. maybe just take the box-office win and the morality loss.

What happened to THE SAVANT? It's now August 6... clearly past July 2026, which was the "Adjusted release" after already being pushed back. Is it because of the original backlash? That doesn't seem very Hollywood. They usually don't care about normies and morality.

Apple still has "at a later date" and "2025" in its description. Will they ever release this masterpiece?

Supergirl flopped because it pretended to be a movie for women but they didn’t cast an aspirational actress (or let the one they had wear makeup), and the outfit was neither cute enough or revealing enough for the majority of the female audience to want to dress up in for pre and post-movie attention-mining social media photo ops.

Men, who actually go to superhero movies, seemed to be unsurprisingly repelled by the same lack of hotness and drab drunkard girlboss aesthetic.

The selfish party girl behavior of the main character also eliminated any family movie outings..

If this is set up like most of the proposed “shorts channels” from Netflix and YouTube, sounds like it might be one long feed of a bunch of random creators’ 1-minute clips.

they’ll be earning pennies, if that, for millions of views and “visibility,” but in reality, they will likely get no new subs/follows because who is gonna leave their tv shorts reel to go support any individual creator?

seems like a scam for the “influencers”… I’m reminded of the time when Reddit signed on with Google and now Google just shows Reddit’s content in AI summaries and steals a lot of the Reddit traffic.

Devil Wears Prada 2 glorifies the ugly future of the end-stage girl boss fantasy. 20 years later with nothing to show for it, but we're all super excited about the fact that eventually some younger and meaner girl boss will backstab us and we'll spend the next 20 years trying to climb back up... We can't turn back the clock. I fear what society-destroying seeds will be planted in Devil Wears Prada 3. Andy walked away because she wanted to stay human, and now the sequel-era message validates some writer's bad decisions instead of warning younger women to stop wasting time. Misery loves company.. especially in Hollywood.

BARBIE movie is what propaganda looks like when it wears pink.. Women are constantly complaining about how we have impossible expectations and pressure put on us, but rarely care about the real pressure that men face as well. Acknowledging another's struggles does not discount your own.

Nobody is meant to "do it all". We are all meant to compromise and make adult decisions about what we can and can't accomplish, do, or be at any given moment. How does she do it all? She doesn't. We were never made to.

We've been tearing men and society down for decades, changing laws and systems to favor us, and yet we continue to deny any progress. It's time to admit we are now often "the oppressors"..

so, according to our favorite "down with the oppressors" narrative, is it now time to tear ourselves down off this pedestal?

I’m not anti-woman.. I'm simply on the side of what makes sense logically and what is good for the entire community. "Modern women" are being taught to be antisocial and how to destroy society.

Social behaviors actually help the group, help the community as a whole. In media, entertainment, irl, online, in politics, women are being taught "social" behaviors that are not for the long-term benefit of anyone, but instead are for the short term benefit of the person behaving that way (and even to their own future detriment).

When we mention it we are shut down for not being on the side of women..
