📢 Kicking off World Road Safety Week 2026!

Today at Barka Comprehensive Secondary School, in Asmara #Eritrea a powerful campaign was launched that brings together students, partners, and stakeholders to raise awareness of road safety.

Inspiring opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Beyene, Director General at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, alongside the Turkish Ambassador to Eritrea, and representatives from WHO, UNDP, and UNICEF—each underscoring the urgent need to strengthen road safety awareness, especially among young people.
The event came alive through a vibrant student music performance, poems by students and the celebration of the winners of the road safety knowledge contest—highlighting the creativity and commitment of youth to safer roads for all.

እቲ ናብታ ሃገር ዝጓረት ዘሎ በብዓይነቱ ኣጽዋርን ስንቅን ምስቲ ናይ ባንኪ ዓለምን IMFን ደገፍን ልቓሕን ምወላ ዓበይቲ ፕሮጀክታትን ተደማሚሩ፡ ዳግማይ ህይወት ክሰዅዓሉ ኣይከኣለን። ኣብዚ ሕጂ እዋን፡ ነቲ ዝሞተ ስርዓት ምቕባር እምበር ዳግማይ ምብርባር ከም ዘይከኣል ማሕበረሰብ ዓለም እናተረድኦ ይኸድ ኣሎ። ኣመሪካ፡ ኤውሮጳዊ ሕብረት ከምኡ’ውን ጉጅለታት ተጣበቕቲ ሰብኣዊ መሰላት፡ ናብቲ እቲ ስርዓት ዘዳለዎ ብ1 ሰነ 2026 ዝተኻየደ ናይ ምርጫ ድራማ ክዕዘቡ ዘይምምጽኦም ናይዚ ምልክት’ዩ።

ሓደ ስርዓት፡ ውሽጣዊ ፖለቲካዊ ሞት ምስ ዘጋጥሞ ክቐውም ስለ ዘይክእል፡ ናብ ወጻኢ ኢዱ ክህብ ግዱድ’ዩ። ካብ ውሽጣዊ ህዝባዊ መሰረቱን ትካላዊ ዓቕሙን ተነጺሉ፡ ብናይ ወጻኢ ሓገዝ ጥራይ ኣብ ስልጣን ክጸንሕ ዝሰርሕ ስርዓት ከኣ ንህልውና ናይታ ሃገር ዝምልኦ ነገር የብሉን። ኢትዮጵያ ንህልውና ስርዓት ብልጽግና ክትብል እትኸፍሎ ዋጋ ክህልዋ ኣይግባእን።

እቲ ስርዓት፡ ከም ዘሎ ከርኢ ብዘርእዮ ዘሎ ምልክታት (ፈኸራ ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት፡ ምምራቕ ኣብለጭላጪ ፕሮጀክትታት፡ ኣኼባታት፡ ኣብ ቲቭን ማሕበራዊ መራከቢታትን እናሻዕ ምቕልቃል) ሞቱ ክሓብኦ ኣይከኣለን። ውሳነታቱ ካብ ኢዱ ወጺኡ ብረብሓታት ናይቶም ደገፍ ዝህቡዎ ዘለዉ እዩ ዝቃነ ዘሎ። እቲ ህሉው ኩነታት፡ ስልጣን ምሓዝ ማለት ሃገር ምምራሕ ማለት ከም ዘይኮነ ብንጹር የርኢ’ሎ። ስለዚ፡ ህይወት ዝሓዘ ሃገር ህይወት ብዘይብሉ ስርዓት ክምራሕ ስለ ዘይብሉ፡ እቶም ህይወታውያን ነቲ ዝሞተ ቀቢሮም ህይወቶም ክሰርዑ ክሰማምዑ ይግባእ።
