Your argument tried to corner Alex into only having 2 doors to escape through, but it was based on misunderstanding Sola Scriptura and Jerusalem 1672.

You take issue with the answer to Q1 in 1672 and think it contradicts the previous 1600 years of the Church, but it doesn't. It is directly in line with 2 Peter 3:16.

Sola Scriptura isn't about being 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥  by Scripture, it says there is no other infallible source other than Scripture.
You want to separate Scripture from Tradition, but the same Holy Spirit speaks through them BOTH. The Scripture was written in the Church and you can't isolate one without depriving the other.

I would like to point out a separate issue when you were pressed on relying on your own private judgement to interpret scripture, you replied with something like "Well, if you can use your private judgment to find the 'true church' I can use it to interpret scripture. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦". Protestants think this is a gotcha but this is an equivocation fallacy and you're making a category error.

Both use private judgment but one is using it to choose a trustworthy authority (Orthodox Church), and then off-loading the 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯 away from the individual onto an ecclesial normative authority.

Sola Scriptura makes the individual an ongoing normative authority to interpret the Bible, effectively making private interpretation the authority for every doctrine. This results in widespread fragmentation and denial of an objectively true interpretation. Exactly what you see in Protestantism.

The goal of private judgment in the ecclesial model is to find an institution that 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 individual opinion. You had to use your own private reasoning to decide that the Supreme Court is the legitimate interpreter of the law. Your private interpretation of the law is NOT just as authoritative as the Supreme Court's

I think you're on the right track in many ways. You do have some hang-ups that you mentioned in last nights debate/discussion, but if you continue inquiring honestly you'll be Orthodox in no time 😉☦️

This is why the Patriarch should be educating the leaders. The Orthodox Church does not support a country that usurps the title of Israel. This is why an Orthodox Monarchy must be re-instated.
