A priest, a pastor, and a rabbit walked into a clinic to donate blood. The doctor says to the rabbit: "What's your blood type?"
"I'm probably a Type O", the rabbit replied with great sadness.
Every election cycle, fake polls (see NY Times fake poll controversy) show the Democrat candidate (like Tala-Freak-o) up big. Then a week or two out (like now) the race always becomes even or very close.
Why?
What is the game the Democrats and their fake polls are playing?!?
Arch Manning sucks, and have you noticed he's always fixing his hair on the sidelines to hide his receding baldness. I think he's wearing a toupee right now😂
Whatever NFL team drafts him will think they're getting a Peyton or an Eli Manning, but they're getting Bald Noodle-Arm Manning.
@RookieWatxh No, he looked ridiculous. And he's always fixing his damn hair on the sidelines (to cover up his receding baldness hairline). What an embarrassment to the Manning name. He's 3rd round pick that will probably go in the 1st round due to the Manning name. Bald-Arch Manning LOL
OSINT analysts who have been bashing @ElonMusk for days over this don't get it. Russia has the capacity to blow up satellites in space. They proved this on November 15, 2021, by firing a PL-19 Nudol missile at an old satellite of their own.
The impact created a large debris cloud—more than 1,500 trackable fragments plus hundreds of thousands of smaller pieces. The International Space Station was forced to implement safe-haven procedures: the seven-person crew (including Russian cosmonauts) sealed hatches and sheltered in the docked Soyuz and Crew Dragon spacecraft for several hours as the debris cloud repeatedly crossed their orbital path.
The ISS even had to perform thruster burns on multiple occasions over the following months to avoid the debris cloud orbiting the Earth.
If Russia decides that the civilian Starlink satellite network is weaponized and fair game, we risk a serious Kessler syndrome. First modeled by NASA’s Donald Kessler and Burton Cour-Palais in 1978, it describes a scenario in which the density of objects in low Earth orbit gets so high that collisions start producing debris faster than natural processes (mainly atmospheric drag) can remove.
Each collision creates more fragments, which raise the odds of further collisions, leading to a self-sustaining cascade, a runaway cloud of satellite debris that can make certain orbital bands increasingly hazardous.
Space could become unusable for years to centuries.
You like driving around with GPS? Starlink MUST remain a civilian entity.
This is indeed one of the main reasons that Starlink must remain a civilian operation.
It can be used for infrastructure that is military, but it cannot be used for unequivocally offensive strikes that make it fair game to be struck back.
An adversary blowing up Starlink satellites would create a domino effect of destruction that would generate a vast field of debris making space unusable.
Our family just voted straight Republicans. Ten years ago, we came from Vietnam where my parents almost lost their lives trying to escape communism. That was their childhood. My childhood was being shoved with the idea that communism is the answer to everything. Freedom of speech does not exist in a communist regime.
If we have never experienced freedom, we would never know what it is. If people have never lost their freedom, they would never know what it feels like.
Now we have a chance to stand for what is right and preserve the values that built America.
We are proud to vote for common sense, for strong border, school choice, for unborn babies, for preserving what God has intended,
For Andy Biggs who will save Arizona from the liberal lunatics,
And for Charlie.
@SenatorBennet Nah. I trust Elon Musk. You're a Democrat clown spewing laughable nonsense. Democrats will not win the House. No one likes the Democrats and their woke, America-hating agenda.
@VanLan40646@mhmck These are just ridiculous psyops by Ukraine, to influence United States citizens into voting for policies that benefit Ukraine. So obvious. So ridiculous. Ukraine, fight your own battles. We'll help defend, that's it.
All this "go woke, go broke" talk does nothing to cure the cancer. To get woke out of video games (and really out of all entertainment media) you have to kill the cover story that suckers well-meaning people into angrily defending and furiously acting on it.
And the cover story is that certain minority groups will never be accepted unless "the medium" programs people to "see them as normal". That without the messaging, society will keep oppressing and excluding them.
But that's total made-up BS, and here's the counterexample you can give them that drives them crazy: Asian Americans. Man they really hate it when you say: "What about Asians?"
Asians are a small minority. They never got the Woke savior treatment. No forced arcs, no forced campaigns demanding games change so people would finally tolerate them.
Yet, Asians ended up the highest-earning, highest-educated group in the country. How? They took action. They showed they belonged. Results came first. Discrimination stopped making economic sense. Acceptance followed.
No need for woke institutional saviors rewriting the rules around identity required.
Bottom line: Minorities don't need woke in video games. No one needs woke, just work. Woke is cancer.
This...sums up Bioware writing perfectly.
Whoever Bioware was, it was not the OG Bioware. That team is long gone.
Bioware filtered their hiring, focused on nepo hires and politics, drove others out...until they completely forgot how to make great games.
