I think the X factor that you have to consider is Randy Allen has to look at his team every single year and consider if he wants to continue.. I think if he was looking at what he had coming back and was like.. yeah, this isn't a team that's going to compete, he's off to full-time grandfathering. He is looking at what he has coming back and he's like.. I think I can do something with this. That has to scare the hell out of your theory, Passa A. If he looked at his team and thought 2nd place, 2 rounds.. I think he'd spend his time differently.

HP may have had a weaker district, but they also won it, whereas Richland had a weak district and got 3rd place. Only beating the weak teams. They also went 4 deep.
