At the annual SPSSI conference, this year in Portland, Oregon. As usual, my students were incredible presenters - these projects would have been impossible without you, Ariana and Kat. You made me so proud! #spssicon25@RICNews@RICAlumni
It's fun to look back at pictures from when I was a RIC undergrad doing research with my professors and graduating in 2012. Now I'm the RIC professor bringing students to conferences and taking pictures at their graduation 🥹 love this time of year #anchorsathome2024@RICNews

@smerconish I think people are responding based on whether or not he has a path that includes THEIR vote, hence all the No votes from a slightly Dem leaning audience. I think he can appeal to many Republicans, but Ind and Mod Dems probably feel like his efforts are "too little, too late."
I'm so incredibly impressed with her performance in and outside of the classroom, and I was honored to dance in two numbers together last night! Representing both Woonsocket High and Rhode Island College Psych Department @RICNews 💃🏻💃🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
My grad student Christine Dallaire ('07) and I ('03) are both graduates of Woonsocket High School. Over the past few months, she juggled being a mother, a grad student, and coming to rehearsals twice a week for a show to raise funds for the WHS theater program.
@krcarriere Sometimes I'll get the feedback and decide not to change BUT I take the opportunity to explain why I'm having them do whatever it is they don't seem to like and I give them tips on how to approach the task so they don't hate it as much. 🙃
@krcarriere 🙌🏻 I think it's a good idea! Then you'll know whether it's just one student with a bad attitude or if several students feel you could be doing something better/different to help them learn. I'm never too proud to get feedback from the people who pay me to teach them.
