Fantastic workshop! As my facial expression reveals, I am not used to embracing positivity, but the energy was infectious! Lots of great ideas in the pipeline here
I joined with the wonderful @pathwithanr and @IPPR for this analysis of voter turnout in the UK elections, and our findings were pretty stark. Not only was turnout historically low but the gaps between different kinds of places in the UK are clear. 🧵https://t.co/NDAVTgZKrj
"The reason the Tories stand on the brink of a historic defeat is a slow, rolling competence shock that has alienated voters across the spectrum, not just a few months of insurgency on their right flank." 👏@jburnmurdoch https://t.co/YfrOMZorTm via @ft

My research suggests the answer is: no, not really.
The article by @lawrencemckay94@drjennings@ProfStoker now appears in our @jepp_journal SI 'Regional Inequality & Political Discontent in Europe'. It shows that perceptions of geographic bias are widespread across five European democracies.
