Mostly photography, wildlife, birds, linguistics, Chinese and all things Taiwan. (And occasionally trying to make all of that come together at the same time.)
@OutRecording While the link was to the earlier registration for the trade mark 綠味鮮, you can see they have later registrations related to soft drinks for 綠味 by itself. I didn’t search “Greenway” or the little house logo… primarily because I still have some self-control.
@OutRecording Here’s the company’s website - so despite the fact that they registered a trade mark for soft drinks, there are none listed as products on their website. I’d say it’s a commercial experiment / frolic gone wrong, hence why no-one’s heard of it:

@Fysliu@Rainmaker1973 I’ve never been to the Puffing Billy Railway - it’s about 1000kms from where I live.
An interesting bit of trivia - one of the steam engines they have on display there is a Shay Locomotive that was used on the Alishan Forestry Railway.

@Fysliu@jcb282828@Taiwan_trails No-one goes here except foxes, kangaroos, wallabies, deer, bush rats… and me.
Hardly anyone goes into this part of the national park. I’ve seen literally four people in there in the last twelve months. And then this particular location is behind a wall of dense thorn bushes.
@Fysliu@jcb282828@Taiwan_trails Here’s an example of a fox I’ve captured on a trail-camera scent-marking. I have definitely been able to smell the foxes around this area. I am planning to set-up my camera-trap near this location, around where the fox steps down on the right.
@Fysliu@jcb282828@Taiwan_trails I couldn’t smell the fox here, but importantly the fox couldn’t smell me either, or it wouldn’t have let me get that close. Their sense of smell is much better than mine. I do often smell the foxes, but I think primarily from their scent-marking.
@Taiwan_trails@Fysliu@jcb282828 And here’s a a big buck cheetal deer (Axis axis), taken in the fog just after dawn. Scheyville National Park, out to the west of Sydney.
I do miss the gang a lot, but unfortunately I just can’t come back. Hoping to get back to Taiwan later in the year…
@Taiwan_trails@Fysliu@jcb282828 I’ve spent the southern winter hunting fox and deer (with the camera), and building my way into camera-trapping. This one taken handheld at dawn, after sitting in the dark in camo, freezing my fingers and toes off. The fox still hadn’t seen me at this stage.
@jcb282828@Fysliu I am actually pretty good. I am much mellower than those Taiwan macaques. They are scary - I thought you’re not supposed to even make eye-contact with them.
Just logging in for the first time in a month or so to check notifications. Turns out I’ve become really popular in my absence. All these charming young ladies apparently prefer me when I don’t tweet. And which of you just subscribed to House Porn?
Read the placard in (simplified) Chinese. That protester isn’t protesting #Taiwan president @iingwen; rather, he is sending his, uh, “greetings” to Xi’s mother.
