Let’s talk about Estevão for a minute. 💙

At Palmeiras, this boy was already showing how special he is. In Brazil’s Serie A, he recorded 13 goals and 9 assists in 31 appearances during his breakout season. He wasn’t just hype; he was producing results.

Even in his early Chelsea appearances, we’ve seen his dribbling, confidence, creativity and ability to take on defenders. He assisted Enzo against West Ham, scored a dramatic winner against Liverpool and became Chelsea’s youngest Premier League goalscorer. The talent is clearly there.

So why are we struggling to give him consistent minutes?

Nobody is saying he should start every game regardless of performance, but how do you expect a young player to develop if he barely gets opportunities to build rhythm and confidence?

When we’re struggling to create chances, beat defenders and produce something different in attack, surely a player like Estevão deserves more opportunities.

We cannot keep complaining about a lack of creativity while leaving one of our most exciting young talents on the bench.

Let the boy play. Let him make mistakes, learn and grow. We signed him because we believe in his talent, so let’s give him a proper chance to show it. 💙🔵

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start with this Chelsea team anymore. Every game feels like the same problems repeating themselves. 😭💔

WHY ARE WE ALWAYS CONCEDING SUCH USELESS GOALS?

We keep giving away goals through poor positioning, unnecessary mistakes and terrible defensive organisation. One mistake, one loss of possession, and suddenly we’re chasing the game again. How long will this continue? The manager must take responsibility for how we defend transitions.

WHY CAN’T CHELSEA KEEP THE BALL?

We struggle to control games, lose possession cheaply and look clueless when opponents press us. Where is the composure? Where is the movement? Where are the passing options?

Xabi Alonso, I genuinely don’t understand you. At Bayer Leverkusen, we saw structured football and a team capable of controlling games. So why does Chelsea sometimes look like a team trying to bypass its own midfield?

I’m not against long balls when necessary, but we cannot keep rushing forward without establishing control. We need to build from the back, use our midfield properly and create chances through organised attacking play.

WHAT EXACTLY IS OUR STYLE OF PLAY?

Are we a possession-based team, a pressing team or a counter-attacking team? I struggle to see a consistent identity. Losing games happens, but repeating the same mistakes without visible improvement is unacceptable.

WHY IS HENDERSON PLAYING SO MANY MATCHES?

Every player should earn his place through performances. We need competition for places, not players getting opportunities simply because they’re trusted while others barely play.

And then there’s Estevão.

WHAT DOES ESTE VÃO HAVE TO DO TO GET A PROPER CHANCE?

We’re struggling to create chances and beat defenders, yet one of our most exciting young talents continues to get limited minutes. Estevão offers creativity and something different in attack. He’s young and still developing, but how can he improve without meaningful opportunities?

Give him minutes and let him build confidence.

Meanwhile, Emegha has only just returned from injury and is already getting opportunities. I understand they play different positions, but I still question how we’re managing the squad. We cannot complain about lacking creativity while failing to use players who could provide it.

OUR MIDFIELD NEEDS SERIOUS ATTENTION.

We need to control possession, protect the defence and stop allowing opponents to bypass our midfield so easily. Our defensive mistakes, poor possession and attacking struggles are connected.

XABI, WE NEED TO SEE BETTER TACTICS.

We need better spacing, a more organised press and a clear plan for different situations. When we’re leading, we should know how to manage games. When we’re losing, we need a plan instead of desperate football.

The manager must take responsibility for the team’s structure and selection, just as the players must answer for their individual mistakes.

Chelsea fans aren’t demanding perfection every week. We want progress, a clear identity, better decision-making and fewer unnecessary mistakes.

The most frustrating thing isn’t just losing. It’s watching the same problems return without seeing enough evidence that we’re learning from them.

I’ll always support Chelsea, but supporting the club doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine.

WE NEED BETTER FOOTBALL. WE NEED BETTER DECISIONS. WE NEED REAL IMPROVEMENT.
