4 doctoral candidates of our MiEl doctoral network are exploring novel electrosynthetic routes for the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
Their innovations enable the production of complex molecules that would be difficult or impossible to make using traditional methods.
Three doctoral candidates are working on the development of a new production process and methods for the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industry in MiEl. The aim is to develop efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable (electrochemical) processes for industrial applications.
Doctoral candidate Mohammad Derakhshani, UWK Krems presented his work on PCB-based electrochemical electrodes with self-temperature regulation functionality for electrochemical studies at target temperatures at the Eurosensors, Poland.

Electrochemical cell development for flow cells in MiEl
Take a look at how a team of 5 doctoral candidates is working on the development and simulation of integrated electrochemical cells using a combination of sensor and printed circuit board (PCB) technologies.
We would like to announce that there has been a change in project coordination. Robin Kunkel (@FraunhoferICT) has taken over the role of project coordinator.
Besides the project coordination Robin will continue to act as mentor in the project.
