The updated Skin Tone IAT assigns participants to one racial/ethnic group (e.g., Asian people, Black people, Hispanic people, White people) and looks at skin tone biases within that group (e.g., Light-Skinned Asian People vs. Dark-Skinned Asian People).

This marks the debut of four new IATs: Hispanic IAT, Jewish IAT, Asian Attitude IAT (separate from the Asian-Foreign IAT), and Skin Tone IAT.
