This summer marks our third year holding weekly healing circles at our St Paul office!
Healing circles are a safe space built on the foundation of trust, respect & kindness where participants are committed to helping one another on their journey towards health & personal growth.
We are happy to announce that #ProjectLegacyMN has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the @OttoBremer Trust!
This grant will help us provide wraparound and academic support for young adults to succeed in their post-secondary plans and beyond.
Earlier this week we welcomed Adenike Ademola to the #ProjectLegacyMN team as our social worker!
Originally from Nigeria, Adenike joined PL three years ago. She graduated in May from WSU with her social work degree.
Welcome, Adenike! We are so fortunate to have you join us!
Over the weekend we celebrated #Juneteenth2023 at MlK Park in Rochester!
Our participants were at the #ProjectLegacyMN booth, meeting the public, and representing the story of Project Legacy. We enjoyed celebrating the holiday with great music, food, and people!
In 2022, #ProjectLegacyMN was able to provide over $100,000 in college expenses to BIPOC students who have grown up in poverty.
The result? Thirty-seven college degrees earned in 2022 and 2023! π
