I don't seem to have PMS anymore. Instead with #perimenopause, my hormones go into overdrive AFTER or towards the end of my period. It'd like driving stickshift really badly.
"We tell people who are grieving not to make major changes for a year. I don’t think anybody’s ever said: ‘Don’t make a major decision when you’re perimenopausal.’” JoAnn Pinkerton, executive director of NAMS. Actually @EssentialHerb just told me this!
"Almost every woman I know of my age is feeling confused and in a state of transition... And, as we may remember from puberty, transitions can be awkward." #perimenopause#menopause https://t.co/uUm5cNiVJA
3 - is to Pause in the midst of the emotional storm and find shelter, find a way to love & comfort myself and find a way to communicate as best I can. The good thing is, my friends who've been through menopause have said, "once you get to the other said, everything smooths out."

A man who screams ugly things for a living gets a hero's medal, while a man trying to end gun violence is thrown out.
